is also highlighted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Respiratory allergy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respiratory allergies arise as a result of an abnormal immune response to contact with certain environmental substances that are harmless to most people, causing inflammation of the eyes, nose, throat, or bronchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a reaction, the immune system produces antibodies that release chemicals, such as histamine, which trigger allergic symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is respiratory allergy?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Respiratory allergies are a very common chronic disease that can worsen over time, but there is treatment that relieves symptoms.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This abnormal functioning of the immune system can have a genetic cause.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to irritants and environmental pollutants can also be triggers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Having a family history of allergies is a risk factor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What causes these allergic symptoms are dust mites, pollen from trees and plants, humidity fungi, and animal epithelium; although medications and foods can also cause these symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These allergens are present in the air we breathe and are responsible for the appearance of symptoms in the airways, whether in the form of symptoms in the nose, eyes or bronchi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TYPES OF ALLERGENS<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The main culprits are <strong>seasonal allergens<\/strong>, those present at certain times of the year, such as tree and plant pollen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However, we also find <strong>perennial allergens<\/strong>, meaning those present year-round, such as dust mites, mold, and pet dander from animals like cats and dogs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Depending on the affected area in the respiratory tract, this allergy can manifest itself in different ways, such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, or bronchial asthma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Symptoms of Respiratory Allergy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rhinitis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Allergic rhinitis is an <strong>inflammation of the nasal mucosa <\/strong>and can occur at any time in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its most common symptoms are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nasal congestion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Itchy nose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Frequent sneezing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Runny nose.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mucus and itching in the throat, palate, or ears.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, allergic rhinitis can increase the risk of developing asthma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Conjunctivitis<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LAllergic conjunctivitis is an <strong>inflammation of the membrane <\/strong>that lines the eyes and eyelids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its symptoms include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Red eyes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Itching or stinging in the eyes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feeling of grit in the eyes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excessive tearing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In many cases, allergic rhinitis and class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bronchial Asthma<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bronchial asthma is a disease that <strong>inflames the airways <\/strong>and can vary in severity. Its symptoms include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Persistent cough.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Difficulty breathing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wheezing or whistling sounds when breathing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chest tightness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LAsthma attacks can be triggered by allergens, exercise, respiratory infections, or certain medications.
