GRANADA CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
We are located at the San Cecilio University Clinical Hospital in Granada, founded in 2016, and led by PhD Francisco Casas, accredited by the Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR).

Besides, we are part of a network of professionals dedicated to the research of Alpha 1 Antitrypsin Deficiency
Centre Alpha 1
They are located at the La Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, Catalonia. In particular, this Centre was a pioneer in treatment research. In addition, it has developed a case detection and treatment programme, with intravenous AAT. To conclude, this research team has been led by PhD. Marc Miravitlles since 2013.
Galician Centre Alpha 1
The Galicia team is located at the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital, located in the city of Vigo. In general, this team has been developing its activity since 2017, coordinated by PhD. María Torres.
Alpha 1 Centre Seville
The professionals specializing in AAT in the province of Seville are located at the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital, which was founded in 2018 and is coordinated by PhD. José Luis López-Campos.

Specialist in AATD and Associate Professor at UGR
He is a founding member of the Spanish Registry of patients with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (REDAAT) in 1993.
Also, he carries out his care work in the Outpatient Department.
He deals with all pulmonary pathologies, with special interest in the specialties of bronchial asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis and adult cystic fibrosis.
In addition, he has directed and participated in different research projects in AATD.
To conclude, he is the author of numerous scientific publications, and a speaker at scientific meetings, as well as in teaching activities.

Coordinator of the Clinical Management Unit of Pulmonology at HUCSC
Specialist in the area of pulmonology who has developed his care work in the Outpatient Department.
Particularly, interventional pulmonology is his field of special interest.
Currently, he manages the UGC, attends the oxygen therapy consultation and provides support to the Respiratory Endoscopy Unit.

A part of that, she also works as a tutor for digestive system residents.

Coordinator of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service at HUCSC.
At the same time, since 2005 she has been the Coordinator of the Pediatric and Cardio-Respiratory Rehabilitation Unit for adults and children.
In addition, she is a member of several working groups of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Rehabilitation and the Andalusian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
On the other hand, she is the author of several book chapters on pediatric rehabilitation and research applied to medicine.
Finally, she is a tutor for 4th and 6th year medical students and medical residents.
