During the 52nd Congress of the Spanish Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery (SEPAR), held in Santiago de Compostela (June 13 to 16, 2019), the 1st theoretical-practical course on alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency ( AATD). This course, organized by SEPAR Training and the Spanish Registry of Patients with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (REDAAT), has been coordinated by Dr. Casas and has been directed to pulmonology specialists interested in AATD. Members of the REDAAT Committee and other doctors with an interest in DAAT have participated in it.
Its objectives are:
1) AATD Basic Training
2) Provide resources, strategies and skills to pulmonology professionals for the diagnostic approach and treatment of patients with AATD.
